The colour of a tooth can be improved by bleaching. This is a simple and very effective process, usually carried out by wearing a thin mouthguard while you sleep.

Missing teeth can be replaced by several means, the simplest method being bridgework. This uses the teeth on either side of the gap to support the false tooth. Another alternative is to use implants. These are made from Titanium and require surgery for them to be placed into the jaw bone. When they have healed into place a crown can be cemented on to them.
