Cosmetic Dentistry, Teeth Whitening, Teeth Bleaching
Teeth
can sometimes be misshapen or twisted. This can be corrected
by using porcelain veneers. This technique can be acchieved over
two short visits.
|
The colour of a tooth can be improved by bleaching.
This is a simple and very effective process, usually carried out
by wearing a thin mouthguard while you sleep.
|
Missing teeth can be replaced by several means,
the simplest method being bridgework. This uses the teeth on either
side of the gap to support the false tooth. Another alternative
is to use implants. These are made from Titanium and require surgery
for them to be placed into the jaw bone. When they have healed
into place a crown can be cemented on to them.
|
Teeth can sometimes have spaces between them
requiring an improvement to their shape and position. This can
be effectively acchieved with the use of porcelain veneers. Careful
planning is required for this type of treatment but can result
in a wonderful improvement to a smile.

Crowns can look very poor
|
Conventional crowns can look very
false because of metal substructures. Modern all porcelain crowns
are far more natural and lifelike in appearance.
